We’ve traveled a long and winding (and amazing!) road with Beth Leavel as she readied to take over the leading role of Donna Sheridan in Broadway’s Mamma Mia!. It’s been fun watching the Tony winner transform into a Dynamo in the rehearsal room, at her costume fitting and choosing a dressing room. Now it’s time for Leavel to be crowned a Dynamo diva (she should click her heels together, because in many ways she was a Dynamo diva from the beginning!) and take the stage at the Winter Garden Theatre. Ever the super trouper, Leavel chatted with us during her crucial pre-show ritual and let us film her first performance in front of a live audience. How much do we love this woman?
